Here's a late entry into the seemingly endless roster of happenings, um, happening tonight: The IN SEQUENCE opening reception at The White Whale Gallery, 835 W. National Avenue, from 7-11PM. The group show focuses entirely on the inspiration to be found in comic books and their inherent sequential format.
Artists Allyson Lassiter, Aries Tjhin, Marcus Wichmann, Anne Harvey, Melanie Kehoss, and Odin Cabal will be exhibiting their singular interpretations of the often multilayered themes presented in their favorite comics of days gone by.
Those of you feeling too weak of will to venture out in the bone-chilling cold tonight can take heart in the fact that IN SEQUENCE runs through January 3, 2009.
