Chances are fairly high you've had an occasion or two to think that Germans have a tendency to be a wee bit on the wacky side--the Deutsch blood runs deep in Cricky, don't ya know--and most definitely when it comes to music. Well, kids, your next opportunity to have such ruminations mixed with feelings of sheer beguilement is this Saturday at 8PM because that's when 17 Hippies will be hitting the stage at Alverno Presents.
With 14 years under their collective belt and a repertoire that combines Eastern European, Balkan, French, and American musical traditions, this is a must slap-down-the-cash-and-risk-hypothermia-to-see show for big band, big fun lovers!
